Ahhh.... Finally have a minute to sit and think.. and a minute to update my blog. Its been quite awhile since I've had a chance to do this. I want to talk about Via Colori. It was held right before Thanksgiving, but seems like the other day. Its a 2 day event, Saturday and Sunday, where various sized squares are sponsored by people and companies, and artists from far and wide use chalk to create beautiful works... and the proceeds go to The Center for the Hearing Impaired in Houston. This is my 2nd year doing this and was so excited to get started, unfortunately, it rained pretty much all day Saturday, so no one could get out there and create. It lightened up towards the evening, and I made my way down there to get started on my square. It was wet, and it was cold, and it was dark, but I was having the best time. The next day we got there bright and early, and there were several artists who could not make it, so the wonderful people in charge gave me another square to paint...you know I loved that!
