Happenings....

I had my student yesterday afternoon. We talked about color mixing and I showed him how to make a color map by painting examples of the colors he uses to mix, and the results of mixing those colors together. He liked the idea of having a record of the color he creates. We worked on brush work and looseness. We painted trees using negitive painting by, "smooshing" color, any color he chose. When the "smooshes" dried, we used black paint to paint the negative space behind his tree. He loved it!
